Being rEsponsible at Tamaki College is about getting on with what is expected of you.

In all areas you are to:

• Be in the right place at the right time
• Dress in the correct uniform
• Follow instructions given

1. Are in the right place at the right time

	The class I am in right now is… (what subject are you in at the moment?)	I am in tutor right now
	Finish this sentence:  I am responsible for being at school on time because...	it is my duty to make sure I am making this opportunity to learn and take care of my own learning.
	Think of all the reasons why someone may not be at the right place at the right time especially when the bell goes for class??	They could be mucking around, Being lazy to go to class, They could be helping another teacher, They could be lost somewhere or they forgot where they’re going, They probably lost their timetable.
Getting to each of your classes shows you are being rEsponsible	Name two or three subjects or activities at school where it is important to be there on time and say why it is important?	Going to P.E because you have to get changed quick and it is important for your health. Going to food-tech because you would have to be prepared to not waste any time so you could cook your food.
Learning the skills of being rEsponsible outside or after school helps heaps!	Think about being outside of school.  Where would being at the right place at the right time be really important???	I would be at home because it would be safer to be at home after school and if I don’t go home on time, I would be getting a growling.

	Complete the sentence: The uniform I wear is… (describe your current uniform junior or senior)	I am wearing the junior boys uniform which is the leather laceup shoe, navy and maroon socks, blue polo shirt and navy shorts.
	There are many types of school uniforms at our school. Name as many as you can...	Navy jacket, navy shorts, navy and maroon socks, leather laceup shoes, blue polo shirts, Maroon jersey, Blouse, Tartan squirt, Roman sandals, Maroon- white- navy scarf. Navy skirts, Tie, Service academy shorts, Navy pants, Navy shirts.
	Write down all the reasons why is it important to wear a school uniform?	It is important for students to wear a school uniform because they have to respect the school rules and when they don’t wear a uniform they would be a disobedient and disrespectful person.
	Why is our uniform better than others?	Our uniform is better because it shows how smart and good-looking we are and we also have good materials that represents our school colours.
	Why do people outside of school wear uniforms ?	Maybe it is to make them look even to each other and other people wouldn’t have to mock you about your clothes. It could also represent your culture or something important in your life.
